Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, will support the planned Moonbeam network upgrade. The exchange said temporary suspensions will be implemented in some services to protect user experience and ensure the smooth progress of the technical process.
Deposits and withdrawals on the Moonbeam (GLMR) network will be temporarily suspended on April 13, 2026, at 3:00 PM, ahead of the upgrade expected to occur around 4:00 PM at block 15,190,604. The update will be managed by Binance and requires no action from users; trading on Moonbeam in spot or other markets will not be affected.
Deposits and withdrawals are slated to reopen once the upgrade is complete and the system is stable, with Binance providing no further notices about the process. Industry observers say such upgrades generally improve performance, security, and scalability and support long-term ecosystem development. This is not investment advice.
